Autostrada is a rug collection designed by Lapo Binazzi and produced by Poltronova. Made of tafted wool, it is available in two sizes, rectangular and curved, and in three color combinations.Autostrada offers a unique vision in the world of rugs: a bold interpretation of the road surface, with fluid curves and sharp straights, transformed into bizarre and dynamic patterns. Created by Binazzi in 1990 as a one-off, the Autostrada rug has recently been reissued, thanks to the discovery of an original design kept in the archives of the Poltronova Study Centre for Design. This new version keeps the essence of the original design intact while continuing its innovative and contemporary spirit.Each rug in the Autostrada collection is a work of art in itself, but the real magic is released when they are combined. Placed together, they create an evocative visual path within any environment, adding a touch of dynamism and originality.
