Octave is a modular sofa system designed by Vincent Van Duysen for Molteni & C. Elements that can be joined together create infinite linear or angular compositions. Feet with blade in die-cast steel, upholstery in fabric or leather.The Belgian designer wanted to design a piece of furniture that would invade the living space with its essential and geometric shapes. A “platform” on which to spend time dedicated to relaxation wrapped in the comfort of pillows, or hours at the laptop during “smart working” activities, thanks to the joining complements between the various modules. In addition to linear or corner elements, Octave has open modules to create compositions with chaise longue. The rectangular or trapezoidal joining elements are characterized bythe presence of trays to support all kinds of objects.The painted metal base is available in zinc or pewter finishes.
