PK8 Chair is an authentic Scandinavian design gem, created by the talented designer Poul Kjærholm for the renowned brand Fritz Hansen. Conceived in 1978, its only prototype remained stored in the home of Hanne Kjærholm, the designer’s wife, and it was not until 2007 that it was launched on the market, enjoying great success due to its uniqueness of style.PK8 Chair impresses with its unique composition of sinuous curves, retro stylistic references, and extreme stability, becoming an example of excellence in Scandinavian craftsmanship. The originality is due to the exception of its appearance, that is, resting on three legs. This layout leads the designer to shape the seating element accordingly as well, unique for its dual core: one smooth and polished, the other soft and cozy. Overall it has an understated and curious appearance at the same time a perfect fusion of form and function. The manufacturing materials are of high quality, such as stainless steel and premium upholstery. Chair consists of a three-leg base and a shell made of dyed and lacquered PC/ABS plastic. The base is made of anodized and satin-finished aluminum. The base and seat are assembled with three screws. The chair is available in black and white with Aura Cat. 4 leather front upholstery. Seat height: 44 cm.
