An ‘evolution of the chair Chippensteel limited edition and available in new colors: white, black, gray and blu.La shape of the chair has been slightly redesigned to allow for mass production. The unique shape and ‘playful aspect of this chair, designed by Oskar Zieta, are the result of a sophisticated and innovative technology developed at ETH Zurich, the famous Swiss polytechnic. FIDH is a technology that enables to weld together a double layer of steel sheets and inflate like a balloon with a powerful jet of air to give a 3D dimension. Models made in FIDU are very light but also very durable. Chippensteel was exhibited at the Moss Gallery in New York, Karena Schuessler gallery in Berlin, the gallery Skalar Hudson in New York and the Tools Galerie in Paris. Material: Stainless Steel
