Vitra Softshell Chair, designed by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec, 2008, is based on a type of seat family but full of new energy.The familiarity comes from the shape of the body, while the new feature is its flexible mechanisms inside. It is characterized by a flexible backrest that adapts automatically to the position of the back member and allows great freedom of movement and comfortable sitting for long periods.
