Topan VP6, by &Tradition, is a suspension lamp by Verner Panton and is an icon of Danish design. Made in lacquered aluminum, in fact, the shade is spun into shape from a single piece of aluminum. Three-meter fabric cord.The Topan suspension lamp, designed by Verner Panton in 1959, was Panton’s second-ever design and his first mass-produced lamp – later to be followed by the Flowerpot. The lamp was designed for the Astoria Hotel in Trondheim, Norway. A sculptural silhouette that not only provides illumination, Topan also acts as a decorative element either alone or in clusters, and adds a targeted atmosphere to interiors.
