Cielo is a rug designed by Archizoom Associati and produced by Poltronova. Hand-tufted, 100% wool, made in India.Cielo is part of a collection inspired by the famous Farfalla pattern, created by the Archizoom group in 1967. The aim was to create a contrast between an Art Nouveau floral pattern and the daring Pop Art experiments of the time. The Farfalla, Prato and Cielo rugs are unique reinterpretations, each reflecting a different shape of the main parts of the original pattern. Made from fine hand-tufted wool, these rugs are distinguished by their explosion of primary colors and lively geometric shapes, enhanced by decorative motifs.
