Akande Side Table, produced by Onecollection, is part of the poetic collection of wooden furniture designed by Jonas Lyndby Jense. Delicate and light as a leaf, this coffee table is a winner of the Finn Juhl Prize.Akande SideTable is named after a flower: in Danish, this word means water lily. In fact, the circular table top seems to float in the air, the detail of the edges recalling the contours of the leaf, stylised in a clean, organic and harmonious manner. The foot like a stem, slender and slender, gives verticality and accentuates its ethereal character. The designer’s skilful use of line renders the solid wood almost impalpable, with great elegance and class, while maintaining an essential and linear style.
