Designed by Gio Ponti in 1953, D. 153.1 armchair has a frame in brass and coating in blue/white leather.This re-edition of D.153.1 Armchair is based on the original drawings by Gio Ponti and was part of the furniture at the designer’s private house in via Dezza in Milan. Molteni&C renewed its attention for the masters of architecture and design with an exclusive new edition of a selection of items designed by Gio Ponti. A collection of furnishings selected after a long process of research and study on the prototypes, in cooperation with Ponti’s heirs and under the artistic direction of Studio Cerri & Associati. The collection includes pieces of furniture and accessories designed by Gio Ponti between 1935 and the ‘50s.
