D.151.4 is an elegant armchair designed by Gio Ponti and produced by Molteni & C. Structure in solid canaletto walnut, brass elements and removable cover in leather or fabric.Designed between the 1940s and 1950s by Gio Ponti, D. 151.4 was born as naval furniture, in fact, among his many activities, the Italian architect took care of renovating the furniture of ships and ocean liners after the Second World War. Molteni&C renewed its attention for the masters of architecture and design with an exclusive new edition of a selection of items designed by Gio Ponti. A collection of furnishings selected after a long process of research and study on the prototypes, in cooperation with Ponti’s heirs and under the artistic direction of Studio Cerri & Associati.
