Broken Series – Blue Edition is a collection of furniture designed by Snarkitecture and produced by the brand Gufram. The series includes a bench and two mirrors. Each element is made of hand-painted polyurethane.With Broken Mirror – Blue Edition the successful collaboration between the Italian company and the New York studio is renewed. The new blue finish of the mirrors and the bench – already appreciated by critics and design enthusiasts in the original version – plays with the idea of ambiguity and the concept of “soft/not soft”, while paying homage to nature and its evocative shades of blue, sea and sky.The polyurethane framing the mirrors and covering the bench is entirely handmade, which is why each element is slightly different from the other. In addition, Guflac®, a special varnish developed by Gufram over 50 years ago, is used to achieve this special concrete-effect texture, which allows the polyurethane to retain its elasticity.The Broken Series – Blue Edition is produced in a limited edition of 33 pieces each.
