Coconutrug I Glassati – Sempreverde is a contemporary carpet by Italian brand G.T.DESIGN, the brainchild of Deanna Comellini. The ‘Coconutrug I Glassati’ project promotes the advancement of ancient craftsmanship techniques and the use of natural fibres.GT Design registered Coconutrug as an independent company brand back in 1998, being among the first to use coconut fibre for the creation of designer carpets. Coconutrug – Sempreverde is hand-woven from high-quality coconut fibre, a durable and robust material, and coated with waterproof resins. It is woven on traditional looms by skilled craftsmen trained in the use of coconut fibre, the primary source for ordinary tools such as baskets and ship ropes. Coconutrug I Glassati Sempreverde is a rug that is easy to disassemble, light to transport and takes up little space when not in use.Outdoor rug made of coconut fibre treated with waterproof resins and woven by hand. Eco coconut fibre is very resistant to mould, moisture and bacteria and to mechanical wear and tear from rubbing and breaking. It has thermal and acoustic insulating properties. Colour Evergreen.
