Bonaparte is a carpet created by designer Eileen Gray in 1935 and re-affirmed by Classicon brand. 100% pure wool carpet. Colored with natural vegetable dyes. Hand-knotted with 80 knots per square inch (12.5 cm²)Eileen Gray created not only some of the most important furniture classics of the 20th century, but also had his own studio where rugs were produced according to her designs. Some of her most beautiful patterns are now again available as re-editions: masterpieces of abstract textile art of 100% pure new wool, natural vegetable dye, and processed to the highest quality with a density of 80 knots per square inch of fabric hand. Bonaparte is named after Rue Bonaparte in Paris, where Eileen Gray lived for decades.
