Description

Tramato is the collection of storage units designed by Gumdesign for Antoniolupi. A line of consoles and bookcases with a unique and sophisticated style that completes the Tralerighe project.Tramato, which was previously just carpets, is now also a console table and bookcase. A project based on the creation of surfaces and volumes starting from an element as simple as the line, a geometric form associated par excellence with the concepts of infinity, evolution and energy. When the line leaves the flat surface and begins to chase edges, folds and hollows, it happens that the pattern drawn through the weaving and alternation of black and white becomes legible to a greater degree of complexity: that of the play of solids and voids, of light and shadow, of inside and outside, of content and container. The Tramato metal containers, available in Corten and Brunito, alternate the opacity of the perimeter and internal partition structure with semi-transparent frames applied to the front and back. The latter are entrusted with a dual function. The first, eminently aesthetic, of composition design and decomposition of the three-dimensional element. The second, functional, of delimitation and containment of the objects stored inside, which remain visible and therefore part of the project.
